Man charged with attempted murder after attack on woman on Acton Green Common

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was severely injured on Acton Green Common.

People out walking their dogs heard sounds of an altercation coming from from the public toilets near South Parade on Tuesday 9 March. They tried to open the door and at first were unsuccessful. When the door opened finally a woman, blood all over her face, asked them for help. She was later found to have suffered a fractured skull.

A man came out of the cubicle holding what appeared to be a rock. They called the emergency services and members of the public waited to look after her and try and make sure the man didn’t leave. He made no attempt to leave.

On Wednesday 10 March 31 year old Dylan Jeffrey Beecroft was arrested and charged with attempted murder. He appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates Court the following day and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday 15 March.
