Morrisons recall chicken products which may contain glass

Various products could be affected

Morrisons have issued a recall on some of their chicken products which may contain pieces of glass.

The supermarket is asking customers not to consume certain batches return the items to stores, where customers will be offered a full refund without the receipt.

The closest Morrisons branches to Chiswick are the Brentford High St and Acton King St stores.

Affected products include:

  • Morrisons Breaded Chicken Goujons 270g – Use By 20 & 21 June
  • Morrisons Breaded Chicken Goujons 650g – Use By 20 & 21 June
  • Morrisons Breaded Chicken Nuggets 260g – Use By 19 June
  • Morrisons Breaded Chicken Platter 600g – Use By 19 June
  • Morrisons Breaded Chicken Steaks 500g – Use By 18 June

“Please do not eat this product”

The Food Standards Agency said:

“Morrisons is recalling the above date codes of the above products because there is a risk that some packs may contain, small pieces of glass.

“Please do not eat this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund. We don’t need a receipt.

“No other products are affected by this issue. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety.”
