Murder investigation launched after Richmond stabbing

A murder investigation has been launched after a fatal stabbing in Richmond on Thursday 17 March. Police were called at around 11.20pm after reports of a stabbing on Maguire Drive. Three men later presented themselves at hospital after sustaining stab-related injuries.

One man, believed to be 31 years-old, later died at hospital from his injuries. A post-mortem examination confirmed the stab wounds lead to his death. An urgent investigation is under way and a crime scene is in place. Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have been informed and are leading the investigation.
