Police appeal to public to identify man after incident of sexually inappropriate behaviour on District Line

British Transport Police have published an image of a man they want to talk to about an incident on the District Line in which a man stood over a woman and touched himself inapropriately while watching her.

At around 8.20pm on Wednesday 26 November a woman got on an eastbound train from Barons Court and sat down when a man approached and stood over her, causing her to feel uncomfortable.

The man then sat down nearby and began to touch himself inappropriately over his clothing while looking at her before they both left the train at Victoria.

Officers believe the man in the image could have information that may assist their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 700 of 26 November.
