Police raid Acton hostel and arrest man on suspicion of drug dealing

Class A & Class B seized along with thousands of pounds in cash

Police have raided a hostel for vulnerable people in east Acton and arrested a man on suspicion of dealing drugs.

They had been told by staff that a particular service user was dealing drugs to other service users, said Police Community Support Officer Gary Pang.

In the raid, on 16 March, ‘one male was arrested for Possession of Class A & Class B drugs along with a large quantity of cash, total approximately £10,000 – £12,000.

‘All items were seized, as well as mobile devices as it may be linked to the drug related activities taking place at this particular address’, said Gary.

They are asking for the public to help with information in the attempt to crack down on drug dealing in west London.

‘We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it’, Gary added in a Met Engage email to local residents.

‘We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible’.
