There will be road works at Hogarth Roundabout throughout March and April 2021, as Transport for London works to upgrade the area’s traffic light system.
Work will commence from 8 March until 20 April 2021 and will focus on upgrading the traffic lights at the roundabout’s junctions with the A4 and A316.
Work will take place overnight seven nights a week between the hours of 8.00pm and 5.00am. TfL says no noisy work will occur after midnight on any occasion. A temporary ‘welfare cabin’ for workers will also be on the roundabout.
How the work might affect you
There will be single lane closures on the A4 and Hogarth Roundabout during the planned working hours every evening.
Bus stops and parking bays will be unaffected by the work and pedestrians will be able to walk through the area as normal, though some ‘minor diversions’ will be in place at times on pavements.
TfL said they would make every effort to finish the work on time, but poor weather conditions may affect the work timetable meaning they might need to reschedule at short notice.
