Sipsmith launches after-hours supper club at Chiswick distillery

MasterChef contestant Giuseppe Trezza cooks debut season’s three-course menu, paired with Sipsmith cocktails

Sipsmith is opening its Chiswick distillery after hours for a new supper club series, Sipper Club, with two dates confirmed for this summer: Tuesday 29 July and Tuesday 26 August, both running 7pm to 10pm.

Each season, the gin distillery invites a guest chef to create a three-course menu inspired by gin, with each course paired to a Sipsmith cocktail. For the debut season, that chef is Giuseppe Trezza, who trained in Rome before moving to London at 28.

He is currently Head of the Event Kitchen at The Ned and has recently appeared as a contestant on MasterChef: The Professionals 2026, as well as making headlines for a world-record tiramisu.

Trezza describes his cooking as ‘eclectic and bold, modern in expression, respectful of primordial and classic flavours, with my Mediterranean roots always present.’ He says he was inspired to cook from the age of five, watching his grandmother roll fresh pasta.

Guests are met at the distillery door with a welcome cocktail poured from Sipsmith’s gin bus, before dinner is served among the copper stills. A member of the Sipsmith team hosts the evening, and Trezza introduces each course himself.

The night also includes a hands-on cocktail-making session, and guests take home a Sipsmith gift bag.

The Sipsmith Distillery on Cranbrook Road was founded in 2009 by Fairfax Hall, Sam Galsworthy and master distiller Jared Brown. It housed the first copper pot still licensed in London since 1820, named Prudence, who now stands alongside two more stills, Patience and Constance.

Sipper Club takes place at Sipsmith Distillery, 83 Cranbrook Road, Chiswick, W4 2LJ.
