Sutton Court Road closure as Cadent engineers carry out gas works expected to cause major disruption
Gas works at the junction of Sutton Court Road expected to last two and a half weeks
The northbound carriageway of Sutton Court Road will be closed for two and a half weeks between the A4 and Barrowgate Road while Cadent engineers carry out gas works.
Drivers going north from Grove Park towards Chiswick High Road will be diverted left onto the A4 at the traffic lights at the junction between Cedars Road (A4) and Sutton Court Road from Monday 27 July.
Part of the westbound lane of the A4 (Ellsmere Road) will also be closed, as will part of the eastbound lane on the A4 (Cedars Road). Drivers will not be able to turn right into Sutton Court Road from Ellsmere Road.
The footway beside Chiswick Methodist Church will also be suspended.
The closure is expected to cause major disruption.
