Adult football club

Polytechnic Football Club is an adult men’s amateur football club founded in 1875 and is based in Quintin Hogg Memorial Sports Grounds in Chiswick. They have ten adult teams, nine of which play on Saturday in the Southern Amateur League.

Their home ground has been open since 1906 and was named in memory of the philanthropist Quintin Hogg who died in 1903. He set up the Regent Street Polytechnic (later to become the Polytechnic of Central London, now the University of Westminster), whose sports ground was in Hartington Rd.
