Underwater ballet dancers

An exhibition of photographs of ballet dancers, throwing shapes under water, has gone on show at Outsider Tart cafe at the corner of Chiswick High Rd and Chiswick Lane.

The portraits of 20 dancers from a variety of ballet companies are by artist Robin Conway, who studied at Camberwell University of the Arts.

His interest in underwater photography stems from having become a water lover at an early age, ‘through swimming at a local club, developing a keen interest in scuba diving and working as a lifeguard’.

The pictures will be on show until 9 December. Prices start at £150. Proceeds will go to the Marine Conservation Society.
