Chiswick House & Gardens – Lightopia
Lightopia is a new winter light trail, in the ground of Chiswick House,that aims to revive and reinterpret the classics, transporting the audience into a very different world of expression with the light designs and interactive pieces.

Chiswick House Camellia Show – 10th Anniversary
Admire the rare and historic Camellias in the Grade 1 listed Conservatory, a gorgeous array of blooms; pink, red, white and striped. Visit the collection of 33 different varieties, many of which are descended from the original planting in 1828.

Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race
The Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race will take place on Sunday 29 March, finishing by Chiswick Bridge.

Prudential RideLondon
Developed by the Mayor of London and his agencies in 2013, Prudential RideLondon is the world’s greatest festival of cycling. The eighth edition will take place this year.

Chiswick In Pictures
An exhibition of pictures by professional artists living locally, interpreting the place where they live through their art. Organised by The Chiswick Calendar.

Pub in the Park
Tom Kerridge and his chef friends will once again be bringing incredible food, world-class chefs, chart-topping musicians and all around summer vibes to Chiswick House and Gardens. There’ll be Michelin-starred and award-winning pubs and restaurants serving tasting dishes showing their signature style and as with last year there will be chef demonstrations, shopping and other festival fun.

The Great River Race
As part of the Totally Thames Festival the Great River Race runs upstream from London Docklands to Ham. The gruelling 21 mile course attracts both the true racer and the leisure rower. Around 330 crews from all over the globe take part – all traditional style with a minimum of 4 oars or paddles and carrying a cox and passenger.

Tidefest
A celebration of the river Thames with water sports, boat trips, history and photography walks and activities all along the riverside at Strand on the Green.

Chiswick Book Festival
Chiswick Book Festival attracts fantastic authors from every genre – fiction, children’s and young people’s literature, biographies, history, politics. Every year there’s a programme of famous authors and some not so famous but just as interesting.

Chiswick House Dog Show
The Dog Show in the gardens of Chiswick House attracts thousands of visitors – many of them dogs – to watch and take part in competitions such as Prettiest Bitch and My Dog’s Got Talent. A show that doesn’t take itself too seriously, there’s always a theme which inspires some creative costumes in the Fancy Dress, and plenty to see and do even if you aren’t a dog owner.
