There’s a new book out by Lucy McMurdo which features Chiswick in 50 buildings.

“It was quite difficult to choose which to keep in and which to leave out. There are so many that have captured my interest, as nearly all of the 50 Buildings have wonderful architectural features, and many have a story to relate” Lucy told The Chiswick Calendar.

Torin Douglas, Director of the Chiswick Book Festival and designer of the Books & Writers trail, is running a competition to decide what would be the 51st. Have a look at the list of buildings which Lucy has chosen and see if there’s one she’s missed that you would want to see added to the list. Torin is giving away two copies of the book as prizes.

You have until Sunday 14 February to enter. To see the list of 50 buildings and enter the competition, go here.
