Police appeal for dashcam footage 

A young man, thought to be aged 22, was killed in a collision on the A4 underneath Chiswick Flyover in the early hours of Saturday morning (5 August).

At 3.51am on Saturday, Met Police officers reported they were dealing with an unrelated matter when they came across a pedestrian who had been involved in a collision with a car on the A4 Great West Road, at the junction with Brook Lane North, Brentford.

London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance paramedics attended the scene, but despite their efforts the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers have informed his next of kin.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests.

Road closures were put in place and enquiries are being led by detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
