Independent café and community hub on Devonshire Road, run by the same owner for 16 years

The Beehive is a small independent café on Devonshire Road, a few streets up from Turnham Green station.

Antonio Kehtar has owned and run it for 16 years, which he says makes it the longest continuously owned cafe in Chiswick. Most customers are regulars, and Antonio greets them by name.

The kitchen turns out fresh sandwiches, salads, pastas, breakfasts and lunch specials, with pastries baked on the premises.

For an alternative to the chain coffee shops on the High Road, with food made to order and the chance of a proper chat, it’s a short walk from Turnham Green.
