A relaxed atmosphere for any occasion

The City Barge has its origins in a historic 14th century public house, located right next to the Thames in the picturesque area of Strand-on-the-Green in Chiswick.

New General Manager Fab has recently taken over at The City Barge and is keen to re establish and strengthen the pub’s relationship with the local community. “Being part of the community is very important to us,” he says.

The pub offers extensive seating by the river, on both sides of the building, with tables and chairs overlooking the Thames and a comfortable terrace surrounded by a herb garden. Upstairs, the Harrowden Room is a bright and airy space overlooking the river, available for private events and gatherings.

The City Barge serves a wide range of drinks, including local and national real ales and craft lagers, an extensive wine list and a carefully curated selection of fine wines.
