The 27,000 square foot site ‘showcases the best of the brand’

Frasers Group, the retail, sport, real estate, intellectual property and investment group which incorporates House of Fraser and Sports Direct among its brands, has announced its new Everlast Gyms + is now open at the site that was formerly Roko, after a major refurbishment.

Everlast Gyms, which has premises all over the country, has made the Chiswick site its London flagship, saying the 27,000 square foot site ‘showcases the best of the brand’. Managing Director Dan Summerson, says it offers ‘unmatched value’. Memberships begin at £100.

The centre, at Chiswick Sports Ground on Hartington Road, by Chiswick Bridge, is open Monday – Thursday from 06.00 am – 10.00 pm; Friday from 06.00 am – 9.00 pm; Saturday and Sunday from 08.00 am – 6.00 pm.

The flagship gym is one of the company’s new ‘Elevated Gyms’ launched in December 2021, offering ‘a hybrid gym experience combining the best elements of big box and boutique’.

When Everlast bought Roko last year and gave notice to Eric, the tenant who rented the cafe space, members organised a petition for him to stay, as he was popular and had built up his business over more than a decade.

Everlast Gyms + announced a deal with sports nutrition brand MyProtein Kitchen in October last year, giving them the contract to run cafes across their whole estate. They say they will ‘prioritise offering an unparalleled member service and delicious handmade smoothies and protein shakes, and a range of hot drinks’.

The new facilities include an extensive gym floor, kitted out with Nike’s Grind strength range; ‘signature training class concepts including Reformer, Hustle and Breathe; a Hyrox Performance Center; and a Recovery Suite including a 20-metre pool, sauna, steamrooms and ice baths.
