All-day neighbourhood restaurant and wine room on Chiswick High Road, from Tim Price, the former owner of The Silver Birch

Brook & Green opened on Chiswick High Road on Thursday 24 September, in the site previously occupied by The Silver Birch, which closed earlier this year after a five year run. It’s from Tim Price, who ran The Silver Birch, and is a different proposition: an all-day neighbourhood restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, designed to work as well for regulars popping in for a coffee as for a table booked weeks ahead. The menu draws on Mediterranean, British and Asian influences and is built around seasonal produce: free-range eggs, higher-welfare meat from the UK and Ireland, fish landed by day boats on the south coast, and bread baked in-house every morning from regeneratively farmed, UK-milled grain. Starters run from around £8 to £10 and mains from £18 to £25.

The restaurant seats 89 across the ground floor, terrace and wine room, and is a two minute walk from Turnham Green station. Brook & Green is open 8am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 5pm on Sundays, with the wine room opening from 5pm.
